Peter Glenville’s life was more fascinating and more rewarding than most people could imagine. It was a life that saw him live up to his school motto of As Much As I Can – Peter arguably did far more. He was extremely successful in the theatre and cinema, working as an actor, director, producer and writer with some of the biggest names. His homes were stylish, filled with antiques and fine art. He travelled the world, living a life of luxury, dining in the finest restaurants. He dressed elegantly and mixed with the rich and famous. He counted not only actors and writers as friends, but also artists, politicians and even royalty. He found personal happiness, and was loved by both family and friends. He was intellectually curious, loved reading, music, history and learning languages.
